Welcome

I’m Dr. Kariema Price. I coach women in business to build resilience, grow their business and identify key areas of personal development. Together, we explore your fears, hopes and uncertainties, so that you can confidently realize your goals.

With more than twenty years of experience as an entrepreneur, I understand the growing pains of startups, the dynamics of moving from family to formal business entity, and what it takes to establish a national company.

My Story

My first career passion was art making. I loved the creative freedom, tactile intensity and emotional vibrancy of connecting thought with feeling. There was one problem, the little voice possibly conditioned through the societal dominance of non-abstract career options, at least back then, asking me…how could this path emerge as a career?… one that pays.

When I co-founded my business more than 23 years ago with my husband and business partner, it was driven by the need to leave full-time employment, spend more time with my family and to discover my full potential. It was an arduous journey, starting up a new business with limited resources and no formal business education. The HUSTLE was real.

Resilience, focus and determination became a way of being and carved a pathway of returning to school to learn the nuts and bolts of business management. I learnt to balance my role as business partner, mother of 3 children and mature student in order to achieve my goals.

Other than my business identity, I enjoy the somatic awareness and deep centeredness of yoga, the infinite rabbit-holes and knowledge tunnels of research, and of course my aging oil paints stashed away waiting for inspiration to strike.

I believe in coaching as a means to explore your fears, hopes and dreams for your business and yourself (yes, it is two separate entities).
I offer my experience as an entrepreneur having transitioned through the phases of start-up, growth and expansion to those seeking to work on their business and identity as an entrepreneur. I also offer guidance to women and mature students navigating the balance between family, career and academic life.
